Our slate is
mined from a local quarry here in eastern Pennsylvania. The high
quality of the slate makes it an excellent painting surface. We cut
the slate into the various shapes shown above.

Slates come
predrilled with 3/16" holes and include a leather strap for
hanging. Basket Tie Ons, which are drilled with 1/8" holes, do
not include a strap or ribbon.

If you would
like to purchase the slates without holes,
we will deduct 5%
from the listed price. Please list this request for no holes in the comments
box on the order form. If ordering
slates without holes, please indicate if you want straps. If no
choice of straps is indicated on an order requesting no holes
drilled, we will not send straps.

If you are
interested in having us "custom cut" slate for you in
shapes or sizes not listed here, please inquire about them. We'll let
you know if we can accomodate your request, and quote you a price.

Shipping and
handling charges are quoted per order, based on the estimated weight
of the slate and the shipping address. To receive a shipping and
handling quote for a potential craft slate order, please use the
order form and check "Quote" as the payment option. We will
respond promptly.

Depending on
our current volume of orders at a given time, as well as other
factors, such as the weather, shipping time may vary for craft slate
orders. In general, the majority of orders are shipped
7 to 10
days after receipt of payment.
Orders needing to be shipped prior to 7 days after payment receipt
may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges.
